SUMMARY

The Sales Operations Information Systems Specialist provides administration and operational support of Sales Business Applications including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Microsoft Platform Applications, and other sales applications. Resposiblities will also include general sales team support. The role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's world-class Sales Operations group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Administration of sales information systems (CRM) including Salesforce, CPQ, Financial Force, NetSuite, DocuSign, Microsoft Platform applications, and other sales information systems

  • Work with sales leadership to further develop current and new systems to provide greater business utility and efficiency

  • Create maintain and update system data, reports, configuration workbooks, and workflows

  • Anticipate at least 20% of time allocated to front-line sales support including: order processing, assisting sales professional with prospect and customer-related issues

  • Support sales communication and training, sales junkets, sales training webinars, curriculum and sales literature

  • Clearly present Salesforce and CPQ knowledge and best practices to key stakeholders

  • Manage system and content for sales intranet in SharePoint

  • Manage multiple projects, coordinate project details among multiple departments and meet rigid deadlines

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Salesforce advanced user or some system admin experience preferred

  • CPQ experience desired.

  • 2+ years of applications systems administration or developer experience (API's, interfaces, etc.) desirable

  • College Degree or equivalent experience required

  • High degree of technical acuity

  • Application management experience with emphasis on Salesforce required

  • Ability to work extended hours associated with corporate events

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail customer correspondence

  • Advanced experience using MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and Adobe Acrobat preferred

  • Database experience preferred

  • Analytic experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion, when necessary

  • Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to travel and attend events where one may be standing for long periods of time.

Brief Overview The Cloud Management Technical Lead will help design key technical components of steady-state, production cloud environments for large and complex Appirio customers.
