Salesforce Sales Cloud Product Owner/Solution Architect

The Opportunity:

As a member of the IT team, the Solution Architect/Product Owner will the lead the Sales Cloud Product Team responsible for building business capabilities on Salesforce CRM Platform from initial concept to successful delivery & adoption. You will be responsible for creating roadmaps, process flows, functional requirement specifications and user stories to support the design and development of CRM solutions. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how-to best leverage Saleforce.com product capabilities to meet business goals and objectives.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Establishes product vision and strategy for Salesforce Sales Cloud. This includes product vision, benefits, capabilities, value metrics, competitive landscape and current state landscape.

  • Leads product team and facilitates continuous stakeholder engagement for the product team to understand needs, define epics and features, and gain feedback on design and working software.

  • Partners with the Business and Enterprise Architecture Design to ensure alignment while executing the product roadmap.

  • Ability to create customized pages, lighting components, reports and features for end customers.

  • Create/update Workflows, Process Builder, Triggers, Formulas, Reports and Dashboards, Data loader

  • Drives discovery of product capabilities and works with key stakeholders to define product roadmap, high level prioritization and product value metrics.

  • Provides guidance as it related to Salesforce best practices and ensure long term success of solutions.

  • Responsible for full system development life cycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions.

  • Partner with core Salesforce Administration and development teams.

  • Continually educates product team members on business process and customer value of product capabilities.

  • Communicates product vision, capabilities and value to various audiences.

  • Makes product prioritization decisions. Leads discovery efforts for capabilities, engaging external and internal stakeholders and product teams. Owns product backlog.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator

  • Certified Salesforce Developer

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years Salesforce/Sales Cloud experience

  • Must be a US person

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Must have experience implementing and maintaining Salesforce in a CRM capacity. Experience in integration and solution with Pardot, Einstein Analytics and Contract systems is a plus.

  • Experience managing a team and working in an Agile environment with focus on Scrum and Kanban methodologies

  • Validate solution components and provide solution walkthrough with various project team members and stake holders.

  • Create, manage and present an actionable blueprint that aligns the business needs to Salesforce Cloud Solution

  • In-depth knowledge of key processes in CRM solutions (e.g. Lead to Order)

  • Process modelling tools and best practices, Data modelling in Salesforce.

  • Creative problem-solving ability and a consistent consultancy mindset while working on the Salesforce Application transformation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying custom developed solutions on the Salesforce platform.

  • Good programming knowledge such as Lighting, Apex, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Web Service, REST concepts and integration with external systems/Web services.
