YOUR PURPOSE:

The Salesforce Platform Architect will work under the guidance of a VP of Enterprise Architecture and is a trusted advisor to stakeholders serving the Lennar Salesforce ecosystem. The Salesforce Platform Architect works directly with both technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze information, and craft comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research into current use of Salesforce.com, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.

  • Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures that meet Lennar's business requirements.

  • Lead the implementation of the solution architecture, ensuring quality, scalability, performance, security, and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with solution architects, project managers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other Salesforce professionals on the team.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Be responsible for solution governance, managing technical debt, and ensuring high reuse of common features.

  • Lead technical requirements gathering or design workshops to derive the envisioned solution along with detailed architecture design and technical specifications.

  • Provides Salesforce architecture design expertise in integrating the Salesforce solution into the ecosystems.

  • Provide Solution Blueprinting, mapping Salesforce features to Business requirements. In line with the 80:20 rule.

  • Provide technical governance and risk management.

  • Capable of defining business processes using CRM & SFDC best practices

  • Develops data integration, data migration and DevOps deployment strategies.

  • Provide coaching and establishing standards to development team.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to suggest trade off on solutions between OOTB and custom code.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years of prior Salesforce hands-on experience as an architect.

  • Salesforce certifications as Administrator and Platform Developer and/or an architect track certification

  • Experience in multiple Salesforce products and clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc.

  • Experience in integrating Salesforce.com with other systems using APIs, web services, middleware, etc.

  • Good understanding of Salesforce Sharing Security: Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Record Visibility etc.

  • Excellent understanding of the Salesforce development and deployment lifecycles: Sandboxes, Licenses, Deployment tools, SFDX, etc.

  • In-depth knowledge of software development fundamentals such as: knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, relational database design, and design patterns

  • Proven track record of successful project delivery of large enterprise Salesforce implementations.

  • Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with leading a white board discussion or delivering a technical presentation.

  • Experience leading teams in the analysis of complex problems, and the design and implementation of related solutions

  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.

  • Experience working in an IT services/consulting firm is preferred.

  • 30 minute preliminary screen
  • 3-4 interviews with members of our team

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% travel time is required.
