MX is looking to add a Salesforce Developer to the Business Applications team. This position will be responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce or involving data migrations, systems integrations and 3rd party applications. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Additionally, this team member will work with our Workday and ServiceNow team to support development efforts beyond the scope of Salesforce. Experience with, or a willingness to learn, multiple Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions or integrated development environments (IDE) is a huge plus. These solutions include but are not limited to Workato, Workday Studio, and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.

Job Duties

• Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components,Aura Components, Leveraging the SLDS css library, and other technologies to build customized solutions.

• Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.

• Create detailed technical design specifications for all development initiatives to ensure alignment with business requirements and scalability of solutions.

• Regularly update and maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams to accurately reflect the evolving landscape of Salesforce solutions and integrations.

• Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.

• Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

• Uphold service level agreements (SLAs) for responsiveness, communication, and productivity, ensuring adherence to established benchmarks for operational excellence.

• Collaborate closely with our Senior Automation Engineer to offer development support across various systems owned by the team, including Workday, ServiceNow, and Jira.

• Offer comprehensive support to all departments at MX, addressing their automation and integration requirements spanning Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering.

• Effectively communicate project status updates to team members, customers, partners, and management, fostering transparency and accountability.

Basic Job Requirements

• 3+ years previous development experience in Salesforce.

• 5+ years experience as a Programmer, Developer or Web Engineer

• Experience writing Apex controllers, scheduled apex, batch apex, and triggers.

• Familiar with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX.

• Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.

• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $110,500-$132,750.

This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
