Seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our technology team to work on a cloud-based SalesForce.com implementation in addition to other development of web-services, Javascript and.Net applications. The position will be responsible for software development where the ideal candidate will work as part of a team primarily focused on the Salesforce implementation and integration and will be expected a jump in and be effective quickly working on assignments and with supporting team. In addition, you will work with other, mostly custom developed, Microsoft applications/technologies and software solutions and will develop, influence, and provide inputs to technology and architecture direction.
Experience or knowledge in developing custom code for salesforce.com application; Experience or knowledge in creating proof of concepts that require Salesforce configurations, Visualforce, APEX classes and methods, and Lightning Components;

*Experience or knowledge in Apex, Visualforce;

*Experience or knowledge in various Salesforce.com APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming API; *Strong knowledge of all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases entity and data mapping for data integration and migration;
Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations of several large implementations of Salesforce including managing user access, sharing model, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations;

*Develop/Collaborate with the development scrum teams and other interconnected IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment and support;

*System performance management;
Systems change / configuration management;
Business requirements management;
Problem solving /analytical thinking;


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understand the challenges and best practices in the logistics domain and implement best in class solutions
Communicate with all stakeholders across multiple departments and business areas (Development, IT, Clients, Business units)
Design and code from written, or unwritten, specifications along with the capacity to learn new development processes and methodologies
Develop cloud-based SaaS applications (Proto-typing, Coding, Unit Test)
Work through issues independently and demonstrate analytical and abstract problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
MUST HAVE: Salesforce Development Experience/work with Apex/certification strongly desired
Solid CSS, XML, JSON, HTML, PHP background a plus
SQL (or SOQL) Database experience
