Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Salesforce Administrator / Database Engineer to join the existing SRC Salesforce Team to work multiple DoD Salesforce Configuration projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organized team player with previous Salesforce experience creating custom objects, flows, approval processes, process builder flows, triggers, share settings, sharing sets, roles, permissions, and custom profiles

  • Participates in the day-to-day administration functions working on multiple Salesforce organizations supporting numerous DoD customer's and projects

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous Salesforce Administration Experience

  • Proven ability to think logically and troubleshoot problems to solution

  • Experience creating custom objects, flows, approval processes, process builder flows, triggers, share settings, sharing sets, roles, permissions, and custom profiles

  • Experience working and collaborating in a team environment

  • Ability to think outside the box to improve existing Salesforce applications

  • Experience configuring new functionality and capabilities

  • Previous experience performing QA testing for iterative development cycles across various Salesforce implementations

  • Experience capturing customer requirements and developing Salesforce solutions

  • Experience providing day-to-day end user support

  • Some experience creating custom reports and dashboards

  • Experience performing data import/export/updates

  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to run presentations and demonstrations using Webex, Team's, and other DoD approved video conference solutions

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least one (1) year Salesforce Administration experience

  • Salesforce 'Community Builder experience

  • Einstein Analytics Experience

  • Experience documenting customer systems/processes and identify workflows or system improvements

  • Ability to gather and analyze data to solve complex problems, draw inferences, weigh alternatives, and present logical solutions

  • Experience creating training and/or user documentation

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce's declarative capabilities, including workflows / validation rules, data security features, and deployment of change sets

  • Self-disciplined, motivated, and eager to learn!

  • Saleforce.com Administrator Certification is a plus

  • Some experience with APEX, APEX TRIGGERS, VISUALFORCE, Lightning Web Components, HTML, JAVA, SQL, SOQL a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience in business or information technology

  • Proficient skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Team's

VIEW JOBS 11/24/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-22T00:00 <p>The successful candidate will play an integral role on the NIWC LANT CSSP Infrastructure and Platform Sustainment (CIPS) team and must be able to create, update, configure, manage and administer database environments such as Oracle or postgresql. The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment with stakeholders, team members and government sponsors to database software over various operating systems such as Red Hat Linux, Windows, and VMWare. The candidate must be able to create, edit and execute scripts to process data and perform software updates. The candidate must be able to create instances to include control files, redo logs, archive log and other parameters as required. Will be relied on to provide IT project management guidance/input and expertise for projects and special projects as needed. The candidate must be able to integrate DBMS(s) and data with existing application software, web sites, portals, storage devices or business applications as well as assisting and testing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP).</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Position Requirements and Duties</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret database error messages to execute recovery of database instance, data or other pertinent database components</li> <li>Engage vendor support by submitting and monitoring the status of a Service Request</li> <li>Implement automatic storage management and data guard at desired levels according to industry best business practices.</li> <li>Remotely administer database instances using secure shell and other remote access tools</li> <li>Implement DoD-mandated upgrades and security patches to the DBMS Software, to include quarterly Critical Patch Updates</li> <li>Analyze database error messages/alert logs and implement corrective actions to resolve issues</li> <li>Coordinate with SAN engineers for designing, managing, implementing and configuring Logical Unit Numbers (LUN), file systems, disks, zones and other storage media on various storage devices in a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID)</li> <li>Work closely with Systems Engineering and Vulnerability Analysis teams to ensure compliance with applicable DISA STIGs and remediate vulnerability alerts to ensure the security and availability of data</li> <li>Implement shared database file systems in a SAN/NAS/RAC environment</li> <li>Utilize designated tools to monitor and maintain the database environment</li> <li>Integrate DBMS(s) to OS(s), business applications, monitoring agents, risk mitigation agents, backup/recovery agents, network devices and storage devices</li> <li>Interpret error codes generated by log and system files from DBMS(s), OS(s), business applications, monitoring agents, risk mitigation agents, backup/recovery agents, network devices and storage devices</li> <li>Recommend and implement hardware, software and database solutions to resolve problems</li> <li>Create/Modify/Update/Close Trouble Tickets and Work Orders and coordinate incident resolutions with other teams within the Network Security Operations Center</li> <li>Document procedures for database management and tasks in Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other relevant documentation processes;
