Salesforce Consultant (Functional Consultant)

TechnoMile is looking for a Salesforce Consultant to join our team. You will be part of our Professional Services team and be accountable for the overall solution design, responsible for understanding use cases and requirements, responsible for building out the declarative aspects of the solution, accountable for writing user stories, and authoring supporting documentation.

This is a full-time position reporting to our Practice Director.

The day-to-day:

• Design and manage the implementation of TechnoMile solutions that meet business requirements for small to midsize projects

• Create user stories for implementation, detailing the technical requirements to meet the user story acceptance criteria

• Lead client sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements, where needed

• Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed

• Assist in end-user acceptance testing by developing the test cases and the acceptance criteria

• Lead knowledge sharing sessions with the client and provide the user

• Documentation required for supporting the system in the future

• Present solution options to customers, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization

• Refine implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle

• Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping

• Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams

• Participate in training content development and administrator and end-user training deliver

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Business Administration and or equivalent experience

• The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on Salesforce experience

• Experience with packaged applications

• Prior experience with designing and implementing Salesforce solutions

• Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary

• Change management and scope control - Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; and identify potential risk situations

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Salesforce certifications preferred but not required

• US Citizenship is required
