Salesforce Analytics Analyst
6 months + contract (with potential for fulltime)

Location: Mclean, VA

IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Salesforce Analytics Analyst to join our team and work on-site at our client's global HQs in Mclean, VA. The Salesforce Analytics Analyst will be responsible for hands-on configuration, development, and release of SalesForce reports and dashboards that support the global sales organization.

Will also be responsible to support integrations (including AppExchange products) with other BI tools as necessary. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Sales CRM Solution /Salesforce Project Team. This position may be required nationally up to 25%.


o Review, analyze and evaluate Salesforce reports and dashboards configuration, business requirements and user needs.

o Act as subject matter expert on configuration of reports and dashboards.

o Support the planning and requirements gathering process to help clearly define business requirements for Salesforce reporting.

o Troubleshoot issues, provide recommendations, and implement solutions in the areas of data integrity standards, data quality, and overall Salesforce system usage.

o Support the project life cycle including requirements, research, testing and deployment of Salesforce enhancements.

o Provide solutions using configuration and/or AppExchange products to meet business requirements and adhere to the overall design of the Salesforce Org.

o Build and demonstrate reporting and dashboard configuration prototypes in Salesforce to various stakeholders.

o Challenge business requirements to ensure that the final build is suitable for all global users and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

o Certified Salesforce Administrator

o 3-5 years' experience Salesforce Analytics

o Strong mastery working with standard and custom Salesforce objects.

o Experience with development/integration ( Platform, API, Apex, Triggers, SOQL and Visualforce).

o Strong mastery working with workflows, validation rules, user permissions profiles and more.

o Ability to interpret business rules and translate them into program logic.

o Experience with web technologies for data transport and integration (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SOAP/XML, REST/JSON)

o Salesforce Developer Certification is a plus
