The IMT Salesforce Administrator position is responsible for the development, customization, and implementation of initiatives within the Full Sail University Salesforce environment.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and implement global initiatives in our Salesforce instance, in both Classic and Lightning interfaces
Gather requirements, generate technical documentation, and collaborate with project stakeholders and end users during project design
Develop and execute projects for implementing new processes, functionalities and enhancements to our Salesforce instance
Coordinate with technical team during project design and development, including the implementation and rollout of these functionalities with end users
Define, map, and guide departments as they migrate existing functionalities to a Lightning instance
Maintain a deployment schedule for both small and large efforts, running in parallel
Proficient in data migration, data modification and associated tools, both in and out of Salesforce
Understand business needs and requirements when scoping out department initiatives
Expected to support after-hours upgrades, including verifying systems and integrations are fully operational upon upgrade completion
Expected to support during unexpected outages, including diagnostic research, analysis and resolution as well as system and integration verification upon issue resolution

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working with the Salesforce product
Minimum 3 years of experience coordinating with a development team
Experience in functional design and specifications
Experience working with custom object, workflows, validation rules, and assignment rules
Experience working with users, profiles, permissions, layouts and sharing settings
Experience designing custom reports
Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
Excellent analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent track record in prioritizing and executing tasks when under pressure
Extensive experience providing guidance and leadership to team members
Proficient in both Classic and Lightning interfaces

Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds. Employee is expected to be available to support during after-hours upgrades and outages.
