Asthe Professional Pest Management (PPM)Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the sales efforts forthe Midwest territory. The Midwest territory is comprised of the followingstates: MI, OH, IN, KY & Western PA. Your primary focus will be to buildcollaborative relationships, garner trust and drive the sales strategy,targeting the key end users in the territory. To be successful in this role,you will prioritize top end user and distributor sales rep field calls as wellas the positioning of new products. Your challenge will be to gain market sharein this extremely competitive market.

Essential Duties &Responsibilities:

  • Achieverevenue and profit objectives delivered by robust business plans

  • Developand implement "Go to Market" strategies that support Brand Value

  • Managekey end users and distributor sales representatives to achieve sales target

  • Collaboratewith Syngenta sales and marketing personnel to implement sales plan

  • Executesales and marketing plans to gain maximum market share within the territory

  • Properlysteward product portfolio by making sound recommendations to end users

  • Proactivelysupport the new product introduction process

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor'sDegree in Agriculture or related field preferred

  • Aminimum of 2 years of experience either in Field Sales or related technicalcapacity

  • Technicalknowledge of the product portfolio and of competitive products in the market

  • Possessthe ability to recognize competitive activities in the marketplace and theexperience to effectively minimize impact without compromising profit targets

  • Mustbe able to travel up to 80%

  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills are critical to this position

  • Theincumbent will need to be able to demonstrate innovative skills to develop newproduct opportunities for Syngenta

RESPONSIBILITIES The Area Sales Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Prospecting for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within established geographic territory.
