About This Role

The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of inside sales representatives, guiding each rep to exceed their personal goals while contributing directly to the team's overall success. This high-visibility role will give you the opportunity to practice situational leadership, develop a strong team, and play an integral part in the growth and success of ShopKeep.
What You Will Do
Hire, develop, motivate, coach, and retain an exceptional inside sales team that exceeds quota and performs consistently
Lead by example: when a rep is out, you'll be quick to pick up their pipeline and help out wherever needed.
Determine sales objectives, resources, and targeted actions to drive both individual and team performance
Oversee all daily efforts for your group: managing sales pipelines, live call coaching, tracking and reporting key metrics
Develop training content for daily stand-ups and weekly team meetings to inspire development and deliver results
Coaching and mentorship: conduct weekly individual one-on-ones to deliver performance feedback, making metrics-based suggestions to steer your reps toward success. You will also deliver annual performance reviews.
Create a successful and positive culture noted by high morale, strong retention, and exceptional individual and team performance
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Care teams, widening your strategic focus to maximize sales and inbound lead conversion while ensuring merchant success and retention.
What You Need
5+ years relevant Sales experience, including 2+ years of Sales Management
A proven track record of exceeding performance goals, as both an individual contributor and a team leader
History of successful team development: hiring, training, mentoring, and managing talented salespeople
Strong proficiency in Salesforce, and the ability to leverage CRM data for day-to-day productivity and efficiency management
Transactional sales experience, preferably in the local SMB space
Proven leadership skills
SaaS and SMB experience
