Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Standing for extended periods of time is required. Some lifting up to 30 Lbs. required. Ability to multi-task and attention to detail. While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

Position: Automotive parts Lead Cashier

Job Summary:
Manage all procedures and staff to insure the efficient processing of all transactions while providing exceptional customer service. Assist plant manager in meeting and managing all business operations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Greet and assist customers with purchases, and general questions on automotive parts.

  • Coordinate all faces of the sales counters.

  • Monitors staff to insure all procedures are been followed

  • Receive payment for parts being purchased and issue correct change.

  • Assign all parts being purchased with part numbers for correct pricing.

  • Facilitate in resolving any customers issues.

  • Issue interchanges for specific parts.

  • Ensure all customers entering the facility have signed and placed birth date on waiver.

  • Inspect all toolboxes and bags entering the facility for parts, and mark all parts.

  • Inspect all toolboxes and bags before customer exits for any parts not paid for.

  • Keep working area clean and hazard free.

  • Provides direction, development and leadership

  • Other duties as assigned.
