Uses independent judgment to maintain the continuous resume flow for the recruiting and selection of highly qualified employees for assigned areas.

  • Develops and administers sourcing strategies for identifying and recruiting potential new hires.

  • Ensures all positions are internally and externally posted and routed accordingly to provide our clients with a pool of qualified candidates.

  • Acts as a liaison to all sourcing contacts. Places advertising with vendors to ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines and company policies. Participates in all recruiting programs.

  • Maintains regular contact and relationships with all sources, including temporary employment agencies, placement offices, and outreach recruiting programs to attract a pool of qualified candidates for current and future open positions.

  • Uses effective and professional communication skills in order to deliver and gather information, projects a positive company image, and to attract candidates.

  • Conducts screening of resumes and initial phone or in person interviews. Refers candidates for the next level of interviews.

  • Conducts and trains other personnel on the process of screening, testing, and interviewing in a professional and effective manner within the process outlined for the company.

  • Conducts reference checks, communicates status of selection process to applicants and extends employment offers to candidates to ensure company standards are met.

  • Conducts new hire orientation, new supervisor on-boarding calls and re-recruiting calls to ensure the recruiting process is complete.

  • Interacts with hiring managers and candidates regarding status of openings to ensure recruiting process is being followed.

  • Responds to inquires from associates, field recruiting, and applicants, pertaining to staffing activities and career opportunities.

  • Works closely with Rochester/Corporate Hiring Managers in order to determine interviewing effectiveness and discuss staffing issues in each organization.

  • Participates in special projects and may act as project lead as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in Recruiter.

Specific Job Summary Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Partner manages the delivery and implementation of talent acquisition programs, processes, procedures, and systems in compliance with all relevant employment regulations across the U.S. and international locations. The role supports the determination of region-specific recruiting strategies for management and hourly positions in alignment with the COE defined corporate Human Resources strategies. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work with the site associates at each location within his/her region to understand and define their hourly staffing requirements and to provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications that will meet business needs as appropriate. The incumbent keeps up to date with recruiting methods and maintaining good relationships with local recruiters and colleges, this role will concentrate on all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. In this role, there will be a need to travel approximately twenty five percent of the time. CLS Generic Expected Contributions ▪ Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones. ▪ Responds to, solves and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk. ▪ Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff. ▪ Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by: * identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes. * providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution. * participating in setting department operating plans. * recognizing and celebrating team successes. * achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility ▪ Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. ▪ Performs other duties as appropriate. Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities) ▪ The Talent Acquisition Partner works closely with the TA Sourcing Manager to provide leadership for overall recruiting tactics within the region. ▪ Manages recruiting for the region for management positions (up to a maximum of Purple Band). For those positions below management, will liaise with Global Shared Services in the Recruiting process. ▪ Creates and fosters relationships with local schools within the region (which the COE associates may not be familiar with). ▪ Develops existing relationships within the region (schools, recruiters etc.) that were established under Marriott International. ▪ Manages the full lifecycle recruitment process including intake, sourcing, screening, and interviewing applicants. ▪ Would utilize various recruitment methods within the region, depending on the response rates, including: * posting on Job Boards * placing adverts in local press * hosting career nights * having a presence at job fairs ▪ Works directly with Change Management/Internal Communications to ensure new policies, processes, tools, etc. are communicated to the end users in an accurate and timely manner. ▪ Surfaces any recruiting issues at the site with the potential to escalate to the Center of Excellence, if necessary. ▪ Is the first point of contact for the General Manager at each resort (within his/her region) for any Recruiting requests. ▪ Designs and helps to design and develop Recruiting-related processes pertinent to the sites in his/her region. ▪ Reviews and analyzes customer satisfaction survey results. Identifies trends in feedback and provides follow up for issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to the businesses. ▪ Works to harness the increasing capabilities of technology within in the Recruiting world, with specific emphasis on Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc). ▪ Acts as a local consultant and liaison with Global Shared Services on Hourly recruitment strategies and efforts and may be called upon to engage in tactical efforts associated with these strategies. CLS Generic Candidate Profile Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows: Generally a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.
