Position: Sales Support Specialist

Reporting: This position reports to the Sales Support Manager

Purpose: The Sales Support Specialist's mission is to support the Application Specialists, do product quotes, process product orders, follow up on Open Orders and Past Due PO's. Inside Sales will answer all customer calls and maintain Zoho board where the need is product and support Application Specialists (preferably with a concentration in large capacity scales) with opportunities that are plug and play type sales and quote the customer and process the order. They also do order entry for all product sales in the company, including service replacement equipment.

Measurables:

• The department inside sales product sales volume.

• The department inside sales product quote volume

• Annual performance reviews.

• Feedback from customers, prospects, and peers.

Activities and Responsibilities:

• Answer customer requests for product. Help the customer get the right product.

• Answer customer phone calls, emails or web (Zoho) inquiries for product sales.

• Maintain the Zoho board for sales@crossco.com requests and SPAM.

• Do quotes for product sales the same day as the opportunity is presented.

• Enter orders for product from the Application Specialists.

• Enter product orders the same day when possible or as quickly as can be done.

• Respond to customer's requests for quotes by submitting quotations to customers for product sales.

• Support Application Specialists with helping do quotes (with a concentration in large capacity scales) and get vendor information when needed.

• Maintain Open Sales Orders and Open PO Past Dues

• Internal to Cross Co:

• Participate in Sales team meetings where assigned.
