Sales Support Specialist

Work location: Kentucky - Lexington or Louisville

Responsible for supporting product line success.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates with proposal units on RFP responses to brokers and groups and maintains various system updates for proposal and sales activity.

  • Works with Sales Account Executives and Account Management personnel in selling, servicing and retaining brokers and clients.

  • Assists in the development and oversees the implementation of policies and procedures.

  • Evaluates and recommends changes in procedures or methods in areas that affect the sales support team.

  • Responsible for understanding document and procedure requirements for group case installation, including performing quality peer review audits for completeness and accuracy.

  • Coordinates training and communication of procedure changes for sales assistants and sales representatives.

  • Completes projects and serves as role/project specialists as requested by sales directors.

  • Directly supports the Sales Managers in the regions assigned in the acquisition of new business, in such activities as open enrollment meetings, administrative projects and support team activities.

  • Coordinates Sales system and reporting activity (i.e. to include reporting support and data validation, peer-to-peer quality review and audit, triage and issue resolution, updates and enhancement, and procedure maintenance.

Requires a BA/BS; Minimum 2 years of related sales experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Family Support Liaison in our Louisville or Lexington Kentucky office. The Family Support Liaison handles activities related to the support and assistance of families facing the sudden death of a loved one in the hospital setting. This includes assuring that the family's informational, physical and emotional needs are being met and the overall process positively impacts the outcome for organ and tissue donation. Considerable travel in the assigned area is expected and significant on call responsibility is required. Specific duties may include: * Provide on call availability to respond to potential donor situations. * Support family directly and through hospital resources including clarifying and reinforcing communication regarding the patient's status, test results and prognosis. * Prepare family for brain death determination as well as clarifying and reinforcing patient's status following testing. * Provide support to family and assist in preparation to make end of life decisions. * Ensure Donor Designation is determined and incorporate honoring the wishes the donor. * Provide counselling to the family regarding donation options. * Regardless of donation decision, support the family with the end of life process. * Maintain documentation on case specifics and participate in case reviews. Minimum Qualifications for this position are as follows: Required: * College degree (Associate or Bachelor's level) in allied health, education, business, sales or marketing, pastoral care, psychology or related field. Applicants with unfinished secondary education may be considered with related experience and willingness to complete course of study * Leadership ability * Three years of experience in marketing, communication, teaching, health care, counseling, pastoral career other public service related * Flexibility for extended hours including day, night, weekend and holiday hours.
