Summary

This multi-faceted position plays a key role within the growing marketing team at Belmark. The responsibilities of this martech-focused position cross several functions within the department and will be tasked with tactical execution and maintenance of sales prospecting tools, assisting with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application functions and workflows, ownership of brand assets and more. This position requires excellent communication, time management, keen attention to detail and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists in the management, development and maintenance of various automations and integrations within the customer relationship management (CRM) application.

  • Acts as liaison between the sales and marketing teams to communicate customer relationship CRM application needs. The position will assist in the execution of tactics to aid sales in adopting new CRM application and features.

  • Ownership of internal brand asset management platform and assets within. This includes driving continuous improvement within the processes of asset review and refresh, organization, auditing of assets, onboarding/training of new users, and troubleshooting.

  • Develops and implements a process for final asset collection from all third-party vendors.

  • Organizes and conducts training sessions for the sales and marketing teams on prospecting tools and applications to increase efficiency and usage. Advocates for the platforms and contributes to knowledge sharing across regional sales teams.

  • Assists in troubleshooting of ad hoc issues across applications and elevates reoccurring technical issues to the relevant support teams.

  • Partners with marketing and sales teams to discuss and review platform and process changes.

  • Special project assistance as needed.

  • Interacts with management and sales on on-going basis.

  • May be required to travel. Any travel to a customers facilities is for the purpose of landing new accounts and ensuring the next purchase order is placed with existing accounts.

  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.

  • May perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • 3+ years experience in marketing related field

  • 1+ year experience managing an enterprise-wide CRM application.

  • 1+ year experience with managing automation within CRM applications, HubSpot preferred.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Must be able to communicate and provide verbal and written feedback in a professional, clear, and concise manner.

  • Must thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

  • Must be able to analyze variables and choose the most effective course of action for the organization at any given point in time.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects with aggressive deadlines across multiple business units.

  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans.

  • Must be a solution-based thinker who pays attention to critical details while maintaining a constant line of sight to the bigger picture.

  • Ability to operate a computer and a variety of standard office equipment.

  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.

  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed written and oral instructions.

  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.

  • Associate or bachelors degree in related field, with three to five years proven experience.

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing and sales principles.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Must be assertive and capable of self-direction and personal goal setting.

  • Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.

  • Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.

  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or less 20% of work time. May lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; and clearly identify and distinguish colors.
