Sales Support Specialist

A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepare NEMA Motors sales proposals for Motion in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Reporting to the Sales Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales organization and customers for the NEMA products. The Sales Support Specialist will support business growth through technical support to customers, sales units and other ABB divisions during the pre-and post-sale stages.
Answer plant, engineering, district office and customer calls for emails tied to orders, general and technical product related question and system issues.
Setup and facilitate expedited orders, hot shot shipments and product inspections in coordination with the appropriate department.
Assist with country specific efficiency requirements and export documents (NEMA, SASO, MSHA etc.) and provide OEM preferred repair pricing and execute global and local frame agreements.
Communicate product design changes to customers and district office for spec on file product and make logistical, financial, and service level decisions that impact customer perception.
Perform general spec review and work with ATS to complete and process new vendor and customer setup/reactivations and maintain current vendor data.
Understand motor specification to locate NEMA crossover product or provide functional replacements for customer review.
Lead/facilitate customer calls, setup and run pre-call for data collection between all departments needed to finalize customer request.
Insure accurate pricing for EDI orders. Maintain pricing, quotes, and multipliers as necessary and provide NEMA motor material exception review due to material availability and provide options.
High School Diploma or GED and minimum 3 years of sales support experience OR
Associate and minimum 1 year of Sales Support experience OR
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel, NEMA or electrical motor product background preferred.
Working knowledge of Baldor's SAP, OMS, VIP4, and other company's electronic tools preferred.
Understand international laws, trade compliance and US export, ABB intercompany/international trade and routing practices.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
