Position Description
This exciting, entry-level opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions within our End User Technology division. The Sales Support Representative is responsible for supporting our existing clients and the maintenance of the account information in the Converge online database. They operate in collaboration with Account Managers and Account Directors as the interface on day-to-day activity as it relates to End User Technology business. In addition, the Sales Support Representative is responsible for continually increasing their knowledge, expertise and understanding of Converge product offering. Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provide quotations and product related material for inclusion in proposals and/or presentations
Support margin management guidelines
Support Request for Proposals (RFPs), Product Research, Customer Reporting and Order Management
Escalation and relationship management with Converge employees, partners and technology distributors
Establish winning relationships with Converge's people, partners and clients
Manage sales cycle including research, pricing, quoting and ordering
Meet sales certification requirements
Help maintain client order entry Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Check stock levels and confirm orders with clients providing ETAs
Maintenance of customer information in applications
Understand entire Converge product offering as it relates to EUT, ability to address technical aspects and specific industry applications, pricing and research
Assist with seminars, conventions and marketing campaigns as needed
Communicate directly with customers as necessary
Update sales tracking data
Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Experience or interest in technology sales and solutions
Demonstrated ability to learn new and advanced technologies
Ability to contribute content to proposals and sales materials
Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of quoting systems is a plus
Strong team player
Ability to understand program benefits from partner community to customer and Converge (pricing, terms, trade-ins, eligibility, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Negotiation skills
