Job Title:Sales Support Representative
Job Classification: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reporting Relationship: PresidentPosition Summary:The Sales Support Representative assists the Sales Team by interacting with customers to provide information in response to customer inquiries about products as well as handling and resolving customer complaints. This position assists in maintaining and developing the TBS Electronics customer base and supporting the sales volume.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supports the TBS Electronic Sales Team and the customer base.
  • Assists in analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; to help identify sales opportunities.
  • Assists in researching and identifying potential accounts to develop sales opportunities.
  • Works with the Sales team in generating referrals and leads from existing customer and prospect database.
  • Updates customer and prospect information in the CRM contact management system.
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date and explaining stock-outs.
  • Maintains communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting and tracking problems.
  • Answers customers questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
  • Assists in completing a sale, including paperwork.
  • Collaborates with TBS staff to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.
  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Keeps Management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the President.
Qualifications:
  • A HS Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of work-related experiences in sales is preferred. Willing to train the right person.
  • Experience in a customer service environment and with customer management database system is preferred.
  • Intermediate skills level required in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of LRUS.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read computer screens and mail.
  • Ability to unpack and move supplies up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting.
  • Interaction with staff and customers.

Support Service Representatives process incoming mail and money via United States Postal Services, overnights and electronic cash instruments in support of all SE2 clients. Processing is done on a variety of data entry systems which include scanning, imaging, indexing, reviewing and completing transfer paperwork, and maintaining records management processes for all clients. Responsibilities: * Sort and scan incoming mail and documents for all clients on scanning equipment and then, move the boxed and scanned records to archive and/or storage. Boxes can weigh up to 50 pounds. * Process and deposit incoming money/wires by entering necessary data into the appropriate Cash Management System. * Receives, sorts and reconciles returned mail and checks for all clients in support of service level agreements. * Run reports, pull original documents, and process incoming transfer paperwork for all SE2 clients while maintaining an adequate quality rating on the work performed. * Process requests in work systems as instructed to complete special processing needs for all SE2 clients. * Preserve, store, and provide the ability to retrieve all corporate records. Track corporate records with automated retrieval equipment. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Relevant experience and basic knowledge of mail service, imaging, cash processing and record management techniques are desired; * Proficiency in keyboarding, such as, 40 wpm and 10-key skills; * Personal computer keyboarding and data entry skills. Microsoft Office products preferred (Word and Excel); * Ability to work with cash items and reconcile cash entry to bank daily deposits; * Ability to comprehend and follow DirectDoc departmental policies and procedures; * Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines; * Must be willing to work flexible hours and additional hours as workload demands; * Must be able to deal effectively with others and possess good interpersonal and teamwork skills; * Ability to adapt to change in work assignments and work under time driven deadlines.
