Role Summary:

  • Administer customer inquiries on order status for parts transactions within the Fastraq Parts System (or equivalent) and Oracle ERP System

  • Interact directly with our Flowserve Sales Organization, Commercial Operations, Service Centers, Distributors, and Business Units Parts Groups in order to understand product specifications and parts requirements, to accurately manage orders to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
  • College Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent related work experience (3-5 years preferred).

  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Computer proficiency including ERP/MRP, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook.

Position accountabilities includes, but not limited to:

  • Customer focused and driven for results in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience with developing customer relationships.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Able to prioritize and proactively complete tasks across organizations

  • Able to drive best in class customer service. This individual needs to be customer focused and driven for results in a fast paced environment.

  • Analytical skills, along with strong problem solving and independent working abilities are required to balance priorities and communicate critical information to our customer base.

  • Keep current on all applicable export laws, regulations and company policies. Complete annual certification requirement relative to Export Compliance.

  • Work closely with external parties such as customs brokers, freight forwarders and suppliers to drive continuous improvement, ensure quality performance and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills:Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with traffic systems, customs brokers, and freight forwarders a plus.

  • Knowledge of basic US Customs regulations (i.e., NAFTA / USMCA) preferred.

  • Knowledge preferred and the ability to assist in the following after training includes:

  • Part Export Classification

  • Government Approvals

  • Export by Third Parties

  • Notice of Problem

  • Anti-Boycott Documentation and Notification

  • Identification and Correction of Export Compliance Gaps

They capturer new customer sales, promotes products with builders and architects to achieve pull through business.
