FRED & FRIENDS is seeking to add an organized and highly motivated Sales Support Associate to its growing team.
This is a full-time in-house / hybrid position.

The Sales Support Associate position is a multi-faceted role, crossing over several teams and different segments of the business, all working toward a singular goal of top-notch customer service. Fred products are fun and interactive, and we're searching for an energetic individual who can effectively represent our brand to our customers.
Working closely with Fred's Customer Service/Operations Manager, job duties include (but are not limited to):
Customer Service / Operations Support
● Wholesale order management - dropping orders and rescheduling backorders
● Providing professional and timely communication via phone or email with customers and sales reps within
your territory
● Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure orders ship on time, and with the correct requirements
● On a rotating basis, field 15-20 calls per week to help resolve customer issues
Sales Support
● Provide sales reports and analysis for managed accounts as needed
● Research and generate new sales leads
● Assist with seasonal and special projects for Key Accounts
Trade Show Support
● Organize and manage Fred's biannual trade show calendar
● Assist in trade show and customer sample packing and shipping needs
● Coordinate with various rep showrooms to ship product samples and sales materials
● Help maintain in-house sample stock levels
● Travel (as needed) to attend trade shows for Fall and Spring shows
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
● 1-3 years of customer service experience in the gift (or adjacent) industry
● Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
● Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with a positive, can-do attitude
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
● Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
● Work effectively within groups, but also independently
● Experience with Brandwise / MarketTime platforms a plus
● Sense of humor… a big plus
