Part-Time Shift(s): Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-Time Sales Support, you must have a strong interest in sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced challenging environment. This is an entry level position that will provide assistance to our customers from our branch located at 7377 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to:

o Assisting with sales/customer service

o Managing inventory

o Placing and fulfilling orders

o Receiving and shipping inventory

o Performing deliveries with company vehicle

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o 18 years of age or over

o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Possess strong computer skills and math aptitude

o Exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell

o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess interest in career advancement

VIEW JOBS 3/28/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-26T00:00 Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector - located in Elkridge, MD - has an immediate need for a Logistics Support Coordinator to support our Vendor Repair Facility within the Life Cycle Sustainment Operations Organization. The Vendor Repair Facility is responsible for supporting Customer End Items (CEI) and Sub-Assembly Returns to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all Sustainment Programs. The Logistics Support Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of product through the Vendor Repair Facility to support both internal and external customer delivery requirements. He/she will be the primary interface between Production, Operations Program Management, Production Management and Production Material Control Specialists, and Dedicated Buyers in support of vendor repairs, as well as interfacing with Engineering and Quality. Roles and Responsibilities Include: * The Logistics Support Coordinator will have responsibility for planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of product through the Vendor Repair Facility so as to support both internal and external customer delivery requirements. * He/she will be the primary interface between Production, Operations Program Management, Production Management and Production Material Control Specialists, and Dedicated Buyers in support of vendor repairs, as well as interfacing with Engineering and Quality. * Additional responsibilities include providing status of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) hardware through the front end vendor prep process which includes identifying and transcribing unit markings, identifying the OEM, creating requisitions (SAP), requesting Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), updating GOLD job orders, printing shippers, and physically delivering material to the shipping department. * Back End Return Processing responsibilities include receiving the OEM hardware, updating GOLD job orders, and dispositioning material to designated area and/or program lead. The chosen candidate will have good communication, presentation and analytical skills and will be a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills. MANUMS Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma/GED and 6 years of additional education and/or relevant experience * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications * Experience in production or operations * Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required. This requires US Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of government or Northrop Grumman production management systems * Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision and/or leads, receiving occasional guidance as needed * Detail oriented and goal achievement focused * Experience in SAP, GOLD, and ISE/CADSTAR and their applications * Repair/modification experience is desirable. * AA Degree * Secret Clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
