JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision responsible for reporting, administration, and project management for the assigned Sales team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and support sales teams with efforts to facilitate sales of Spectrum Products.

  • Responsible for managing all logistics related to the day to day office activities and meetings. This includes but is not limited to: ordering supplies, coordinating meeting spaces, creation of documents for meetings, catering, and onboarding new hires.

  • Facilitate the installation of sales by assisting sales executives with proper order follow, issue identification, escalations and proactively following up with other departments as required.

  • Responsible for obtaining reports and assisting with the distribution of the reports that are associated with all matters related to sales.

  • Manage projects related to construction, ECAF escalations, Porting, and others as assigned.

  • Maintain and track invoices to budget and provide recommendation for cost efficiencies.

  • Coordinate all activities related to sales blitz including updates, maintain records, and submitting results.

  • Assist with the submission of same day tickets for sales teams that are in the field. (Data entry for the sales leads).

  • Perform other duties as requested by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to work while seated for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • Understanding of business terms

  • Proven track record in sales support, administration and operations

  • Knowledge of general office procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret policy and process documentation and methods and procedures

Education

Bachelor's degree in business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Related Work Experience
3+ years General office experience

Experience working with outside sales teams preferred

VIEW JOBS 2/18/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-18T00:00 What you will do: This Global support role is the central coordination point between the Global Program Managers, for strategic initiatives within the CoE Network. Pre and Post Sales activities are necessary to support global strategic accounts. This role requires multi-account, multi-region and multi-project coordination, tracking and reporting. Candidates will serve as an intermediary and facilitator between the engineering (GCOE based and India based) resources, surveyors (domestic and international), program managers as well as regional and in country teams. Candidate is responsible for coordinating high volume, time sensitive, and critical project functions across the value chain. Target customers are global in nature, thus the role includes exposure to international sales and operations team members. The role is also customer facing. How you will do it: * Responsible for Smartsheet process and procedures for CoE Network * Support Program Management team to increase effectiveness and efficiencies through maturity of processes and tools. * Coordinate and manage hand-off's and track the work between the design teams, applications engineers, and off shore resources in order to meet customer design and project timing expectations * May need to submit initial system design to customer and monitor design approval process * Coordinate and work with engineering teams to ensure project bill of materials and designs follow documented customer standards * Compass account creation is required for domestic customer projects * Compass estimate creation is required for domestic customer projects based on engineering created scope and bill of materials * Baan and ServiceMax enterprise reporting management is required for domestic customer projects * International projects require creation of initial pricing sheet leveraging standardized global pricing (when applicable) and coordination with JCI regional / country contacts for local pricing requirements and completion * Follow up and review with JCI regional / country contacts to ensure local pricing and equipment additions align with global standards * Finalize proposal according to approved Global Format * Notify designated Strategic Account manager and / or customer of any deviations from Global/Regional Standard * Submit Proposal to designated Strategic Account Manager and / or customer for approval * Track and report on all pre-sales and post-sales activities and milestones to program manager, Strategic Account Manager, customer and leadership. * Track receipt of customer approvals and purchase orders for all projects * Field calls from customers and Strategic Account Managers inquiring about orders, proposals, and installs * Participates in conference calls and tracking of projects * May participate in customer visits and business meetings * Coordinates, communicates and tracks all global and domestic project progress and milestones * Assist with customer escalation initiatives and problem resolution.
