Job Description:

The OneAmerica Employee Benefits division is a broker-centric organization focused on earning and maintaining brokers' and clients' business by understanding the needs to grow and retain business.

The sales administrator plays a key role in our sales organization by working with our sales reps to provide support to our broker partners throughout the pre-sale and post-sale processes. This position supports the OneAmerica vision, mission and values by supporting sales initiatives, maintaining relationships with customers, and providing assistance to other employees.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Processing requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring necessary documents are in good order and collaborating with our sales and underwriting teams to provide quality output to our brokers

  • Participating on project teams to represent the team, collaborate for innovation, and test system enhancements

  • Creating enrollment materials

  • Maintaining process documentation

Experience Required:

  • 4+ years administrative experience

  • College degree preferred

  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Ability to work with multiple databases and systems

  • Proven success with building partnerships and managing relationships in a fast-paced sales environment while meeting customer deadlines

  • Life and Health State license to be acquired within 1 year of employment

Qualifications:

  • Must be detail oriented and deadline driven with excellent organizational skills

  • Must have the ability to work independently and solve problems using critical thinking skills

  • Must have a desire to work in a fast paced, high volume team environment with goals of continuous learning and quality improvement.

  • Must have strong leadership skills along with the ability to exceed internal and external customer service needs is required.

  • Must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work successfully with many personality styles.

  • Must be able to manage multiple high priority and urgent tasks while maintaining excellent customer service and delivery expectations.

  • Must support change, encourage innovation, solve the root cause of problems creatively, adapt well, and be willing to learn new skills.

This position will drive sales growth through communication and in-person interactions with current and prospective customers regarding Zimmer Biomet products. Support the sales team through surgical case coverage, training of operating room personnel and logistics of instruments and implants. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide surgical case coverage support within assigned sales team to include training surgeons and hospital staff on proper servicing of devices, and ensuring that proper instruments and implants are available and ready for a case prior to its onset. Build strong relationships with key surgeons in the given area, while covering more routine orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen. Utilize this process to further develop strong clinical and product knowledge critical to future sales growth. Work collaboratively with area sales leader and other sales representatives to build, implement and execute a sales plan for the assigned area. Assist with planning, coordinating and executing local educational and sales events intended to augment the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals. Strictly adheres to all laws and Zimmer Biomet policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP's (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training. Expected Areas of Competence In-depth understanding of customers and their requirements. Clinically proficient in anatomy and willing to work within a medical facility's operating room. Ability to become technically proficient with the designated portfolio of products. Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence others. Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 50 pounds, independently. Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree required. 1-2 years sales experience. Travel Requirements Up to 95% predominantly by car, depending on territory. Up to 20% overnight travel may be required.
