The purpose of this role is to provide timely and consistent administrative support for the accounts and the sales teams. The Sales Support Assistant will support various sales roles within the Nursing and Health Education division. This role partners with other roles within a POD structure that drives brand loyalty and product health that ultimately impacts revenue
Expectations of the role:
Ensure that various faculty and sales-initiated requests for products, resources, and support are fulfilled.
Order and ship gratis print & digital content for customers upon request. Provide mail merging.
Manage request for PDFs for out of stock content
Manage (create or update) the account's book list by way of website or spreadsheet with new edition, pricing change, contracts, etc.
Will partner with rep to follow a custom package through adoption close to revenue capture stage
Will order digital courses based on digital entry at the opportunity level, enter in faculty into digital course if a list is provided by rep, and clone packages based on the approved clone process
Assist with the ordering and shipping of brochures and related sales collateral to the field sales teams
Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
Handle any special projects as required by the sales.
Work with sales rep to create custom materials to promote partnership
Work with sales team members to complete emails and flyers based upon provided templates to promote partnership with customer, share special offers, and ultimately support revenue sell through.
Partner with rep to manage HESI delivered through the bookstore with flyers.
Ensure all assigned tasks through Elsevier's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system are accomplished.
Updating saleforce.com with account information (contacts, enrollment, etc).
Look up orders in delta see if this shipped and check accounts for rep alignment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word in particular) required. Familiar with Salesforce.com preferred. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years support/coordinator experience, preferably in a sales environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to be goal oriented, flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with a changing environment
Have experience working with teams and be willing to work collaboratively
Must possess strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Administrative, organization, and attention to detail are a must, in addition to strong verbal communication skills and a customer focus.
Possess strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Have experience working with teams and be willing to work collaboratively
