JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring the tactical activities of the inside sales team is executed according to standard. Coaches the inside sales team in customer accuracy and retention best practices. This role should have a thorough understanding of our inside sales processes to train and coach the sales team.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales strategy and execution.
Assigns sales territory to sales representatives, coaching them in their activities and results.
Responsible for their team's compliance with internal SOPs.
Coordinates inventory outages with team.
Actively closes performance gaps to ensure industry-leading customer satisfaction levels.
Responsible for the management of accounts receivables. This includes mitigating past due accounts and preventing bad debt write-offs.
Assists in tracking, measuring, and reporting team KPIs.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Uses data and analytics to drive decision making.
Considers the market conditions of their territory, customer needs, company objectives, and their territory goals in their daily decision making and applies sound judgment in their relative decision making.
Leads Process Improvement Teams (PIT) cross functionally.
Responsible for representing the voice of the customer to their division and training employees on the customer's needs.
Responsible for ensuring that their team has the product and installation knowledge to support sales strategies.
Executes commission plan changes for their team.
Facilitates the training plan for TSMs and TSAs.
Reviews/coaches market analysis determining customer needs, pricing, and discount rates.
May be expected to cold call and prospect for new business to further develop market penetration.
Understands the market position of competition and CSMI value against those competitors.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Exposure: Project management, continuous improvement, and problem solving skills
Required skills: Microsoft Office.
