Overview:

This position supervises an assigned work schedule in the absence of the Store Manager by assisting in all aspects of the store operations including associate management, customer relations, stock disposition and merchandise displays.

Major Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.

  • Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements.

  • Demonstrates salesmanship skills by maintaining sales productivity levels.

  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, displaying maintenance, cleaning store including bathroom and stockroom, vacuuming and returning product to inventory.

  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read, write and understand English.

  • 6 -12 months retail experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

JOB SUMMARY: Assists Guests with inquiries for restaurant group events by receiving phone calls, conducting site inspections, menu and accessory selection, writing standard and customized menus. When applicable, introduces client(s) to manager of restaurant hosting event. Work closely with all restaurant managers and chefs compiling very accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders within department time line parameters. Must be able to post event reconciliation and perform light accounting. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Treats guests and business associates of Caesars Entertainment with courtesy and respect. * Maintains efficient filing of client and function information. * Practices proper guest relations; meets guest relations standards. * Ensures the Company Vision & Mission objectives are clearly communicated and evaluated. * Courteous and timely telephone etiquette. * Ensures that all guest inquiries have a response within 24-48 hours * Accurate typing and detailed work. * Remains informed of current restaurant and lounge information. * Deliver professional and outstanding customer service to all clients and guests. * Seek ways to increase bookings. * Has flexible hours and be able to meet and greet clients at arrival of event when necessary. * Complete task as assigned by Senior Sales Manager, Director or Vice President. * Answer the telephone. * Assist in site selections of Food and Beverage Group Events. * Suggestively sell menus, entertainment and décor for Group Events * Sell events, write menus and Banquet Event Orders, enter data into Delphi/Guestbridge, distribute bookings to management/culinary teams, etc. * Ensure flawless communication of event details. * Communicate with room managers, chefs and sommeliers to review selections and special requests. * Must be detail oriented in all work. * Attend departmental meetings. * Attend site inspections, tastings and Pre-Con meetings. * Organize groups, as assigned to them. * Adheres to each restaurants set of rules and parameters. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Computer strengths in Word, Excel, and Delphi. * Professional and courteous phone etiquette. * Ability to write professional, grammatically correct letters. PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: * Ability to move throughout the entire casino. * Visual abilities and tolerance needed to use a computer and complete detailed paperwork for extended periods of time. * Ability to communicate verbally for telephone conversations. * Auditory abilities needed for effective telephone usage. * Ability to work from a standing, walking or sitting position for extended periods of time.
