Summary of Job Duties: Provide coverage for multiple inside phone sales reps while out of the office. The focus of this position is to assist customers with the ordering process by following the instructions left by the sales reps. It is critical in this position to be available for subbing before and after ALL holidays.
Specific Job Duties:
Work closely with inside Sales Reps to prepare for and review shift coverage requirements when they are out of the office.
Take phone orders from Retail Health Food and Health Professional Accounts.
Handle urgent matters and select sales call from multiple Sales Representatives
Call selected customers to increase size of orders by using product knowledge and sales techniques.
Pitch products and promotions as directed by the Sales Representatives.
Handle customer service issues and act as a liaison with other departments.
Organize mailings, line drives, and other promotional materials.
Handle order entry of faxed and other orders as needed and directed by multiple Sales Representatives.
Provide sales support as needed to multiple Sales Representatives
Attend weekly sales meetings, monthly vendor training meetings and all other meetings as required by management.
Call order taker account base to increase sales
Help the Data Entry Dept with orders when not busy/or asked to assist.
Other job duties as indicated by the Sales Management team.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bilingual / Spanish
1 year applicable Sales, Sales Support or Customer Service experience.
Proficient in ALL Microsoft applications
Excellent communication skills.
1 year applicable data entry experience
Pass company test at 80%
Well organized, ability to follow explicit directions.
