Sales Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, LTS Go-to-Market

The Sales Strategy & Operations Senior Associate is a highly visible role within the largest business line of one the fastest growing brands in consumer internet. The role acts as an advisor to executives in the global sales, product and operations teams, and is responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational issues facing the Talent Solutionsin new product launches.

This position will offer a candidate withtraditional (consulting/ corporate strategy/SaaS)or startupexperience an exciting and high-profile opportunity toinfluence the trajectory of LinkedIn's Go-To-Market operations thoughleadingprojects with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to make data-driven decisions acrossour launch portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Sales Metrics Definitions & Governance:

  • Define and enforce standard sales metrics to evaluate new product launches

  • Work with product launch teams to inform and partner on how they define success, what metrics they track,and how they set targets

Financial Metrics & Targets:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g.BizOps, Finance) to set product targets and monitor progress via forecasting

  • Own setting and tracking progress vs. goals for new product field initiatives, including financial targets

Compensation Strategy:

  • Help to determine how sales teams areincentivized on new products

Operational Rigor & Design:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g.product marketing) to help inform pre-sales support models and drive operational rigor on the way we bring new products to market

  • Inform key systems and policy decisions for new products, working closely with relevant partners

Analytics Support:

  • Informquantitative story for new product portfolio and support specific product deep-dives, including how rollouts are performing

Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to:

  • Gain management confidence creating and delivering insights in executive presentations

  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, global Solutions organization, LTS product marketing, sales management, and the systems team to achieve above objectives without management involvement

  • Partner with sales executives on all operational and strategic requests (e.g., team restructuring, quota setting, org changes)

  • Gather requirements and project manage changes to our processes and technology that result in improvements in team productivity

  • Coordinate cross-line of business and cross-functional teams to lead mission critical projects, role alignment & program integrations

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 +years experiencein management consulting or 1+ years in SaaS-based company in finance, ops,orBizOpsfunctions
  • 3 +years experiencein financial modeling and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science orother related technical fields

  • Exceptionally strong communication skills,backed by stories of effectively communicating and influencing senior management (verbal and written via

Powerpoint)

  • Experience in high-growth, performance-focused environments

  • Demonstrated eagerness and ability to work in start-up based high-growth, performance-focused environment with lots of ambiguity

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization

  • Inside-out knowledge of Excel and ability to spot an "off" number from a mile away

  • Experience with Salesforce, SQL/relational databases and BI tools like Tableau
