Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $129,100.00 - $215,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced solution selling Strategy and Enablement Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing solution selling strategies, along with a strong background in sales enablement. This role is critical in driving our sales team's success by providing them with the tools, resources, and training necessary to effectively sell our solutions.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Engages with management to develop, implement, and monitor Sales Strategy & Enablement business objectives, performance and overall value added.

  • Engages with sales leaders to understand evolving product / customer / sales needs and associated analytical requirements.

  • Collaborates with sales and marketing stakeholders to ensure proper focus and alignment of initiatives and priorities.

  • Monitors analytical /reporting programs and initiatives company-wide to ensure effective focus and impact on enhancing overall sales effectiveness and return on investment.

  • Monitors industry, the competition, customers and the analytical state-of the art to identify best practices and ensure incorporation into Cox business operations.

  • Provides strategic guidance in partnership with management to identify and address evolving business needs.

  • Drives globalization and standardization of Sales Strategy & Enablement and associated organizational processes.

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive solution selling strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for solution selling.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to define solution offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Sales Enablement:

  • Design and implement a robust sales enablement program that includes training, content, tools, and resources to support the sales team in solution selling.

  • Create and deliver training programs focused on solution selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.

  • Develop and maintain a library of sales collateral, case studies, and best practices to support the sales process.

Performance Management:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of solution selling initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the progress of solution selling and enablement programs.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales enablement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales enablement initiatives.

Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with key customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that address their business challenges.

  • Function as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations on how to maximize the value of our solutions.

  • Gather and leverage customer feedback to refine solution offerings and improve the overall customer experience.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field

  • Focus on solution selling and sales enablement for enterprise teams.

  • Proven record of developing and implementing successful solution selling strategies.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
