Grow your career as a Sales Strategy Associate within AMResorts, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. You will be responsible for managing initiatives and large-scale projects from the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Processes. In this role you will coordinate multiple cross departmental stakeholders to ensure a positive ROI, efficiency and speed to market. You will also provide coordination and support to the sales efforts and deployment of sales strategies.
A successful Sales Strategy Associate will:
Manage the execution of projects and activities within Global Sales organization to ensure a positive ROI, efficiency and speed to market
Support development of initiatives and large-scale projects from the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Processes involving multiple stakeholders
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Distribution to identify gaps in processes and resolutions to drive toward successful project completion and implementation
Understand Sales Planning in order to monitor the progress of ongoing initiatives, make recommendations and work with other teams to amend planning to make campaigns more successful.
Prepare presentations and reports that detail the progress of projects across the Global Sales organization
Understand and support the execution of sales opportunities and innovative approaches to existing concepts as well as development of new business opportunities
Understand the budget Goals and SOB's in order to assist in executing successful concepts
Utilize Revenue Management Reports, account information, competitive analysis and business strategies to assist in driving sales concepts to optimize budget performance
Execute new hotel pre-opening sales strategies with appropriate department leads
Understand who and how to exposure to External Strategic Partner Alliances
Collaborate with Marketing Team on Brand positioning and messaging and support thereof in the marketplace.
Assist with concepts for promotional materials, sales collateral, sales presentations and more
Suggest best practices for cross department protocol to bring sales strategies to market with efficiency, speed to market, clear messaging and KPI's
Takes on a role in work groups to aggregate deliverables and monitor and follow up on action items
Works with relevant parties to enable successful execution of all Sales initiatives throughout AMR
Responsive to all inquiries and requests on the status of all project work
BS/BA in Business Administration, Sales, Hospitality, International Business required. Project Management, preferred
1 - 3 years experience project management and hospitality experience is required
Willingness to learn about International markets and specific sales segments
Highly organized, creative, self-directed and driven for success
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and properly manage time
Strong organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain various reports and dashboards
Skilled at translating data into key insights, operational implications and recommended next steps
