The DCS (Commercial Global Storage business) Sales Strategy and Planning Sr. Consultant will support ad-hoc Analytics, Global Organizational Strategy and Executive Presentations. This is a critical role in the fast paced DCS business that requires strong analytical skills, partnering skills and extremely strong communication skills along with the ability to work cross functionally with different teams. The ideal candidate will be a leader/innovator building out this new functionality within the DCS team. This role is key to identifying and driving key strategic initiatives.
The Sales Strategy & Planning (SSP) team supports Finance and Operations for the Commercial Global Storage business. Our scopes Global Centralization for Sales, Presales and Specialty roles within the Commercial Organization and is a member of the broader DCC (formally GCN) Operations organization. As a team member you will support the organization across a broad scope of operational needs.
Key contact for regional and global leaders on strategic projects.
Work closely to develop assumptions and analytics with global GTM/Strategy teams.
Build Assumptions and Plans into Executive Ready presentations.
Point person for organizational projects controlling data, communications and the overall execution/implementation plans.
Use data to help solve business problems as they arise. This could span a broad range of topics/asks.
Execution of business transformation priorities
High engagement with regional sales leaders to ensure to implement strategies and programs.

Required Skills & Competencies
Minimum 12 months of experience in an Operations, Sales Support or Finance role
Advanced written and verbal skills in English is required
Education- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
Pro-level proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint. SQL is plus. Prior examples of advanced BI and operational reporting will need to be supplied
Demonstrate experience working with BMS and other internal reporting teams preferred
Experience with building Leader presentations (PPT)
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity. Self-starter who is comfortable working with various teams with little guidance
Ability to prioritize tasks while getting requests completed on time
Clear communication skills and ability to explain complex analysis
Prior roles in finance, business planner, compensation, data quality or in sales operations are plus
