Position: Sales Specialist- Systems Applications

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

Position Overview:
The Systems Applications Sales Specialist supports the assigned product lines, providing technical information regarding product application to customers, application assistance to engineering, proposal generation, and project management of assigned projects, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform project coordination activities, to include the scheduling of human assets, costing, general management, etc., ensuring the completion of the project on time, within budgetary constraints, and meeting the customer's specifications.

  • Develop and review proposals for potential engineered sales opportunities and process the orders from the quotations.

  • Follow up proactively on opportunities.

  • Field customer calls and acts as a technical resource to customers and other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding company products.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all required reports.

  • Report and communicate to management an overview of all projects in engineering and anticipated timelines for completion.

  • Work with various disciplines within the organization to ensure timely completion of projects to meet customer specifications.

  • Manage contract resources, when required, to ensure timely completion of projects to meet customer specifications.

  • Be a key point of contact for customers and end-users with respect to projects in which we are involved.

  • Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in the industry.

  • Attend trade shows and meetings as required.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Business

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
