Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Selling Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. In this role, you'll be autonomous in your own territory promoting a neuroscience product for one of Syneos Health's clients. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will:

  • Maximize new business opportunities with physicians and other health service providers

  • Present therapeutic products and creatively teach people about their usage

  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient

  • Build trust and credibility and become a true collaborator in commercial success

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has

  • BA/BS Degree Required, preferably in a scientific field

  • 2+ years Pharmaceutical Sales Experience Minimum Required

  • Neuroscience/ADHD Experience Preferred

  • Strong, documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets for assigned geography through use of approved marketing materials and selling strategies. Launch experience preferred

  • Understands and compliantly addresses both business and scientific oriented needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in meaningful dialog to determine underlying patient needs and determine how products could address such needs

  • Local Market Knowledge/Relationships

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to excellence

  • Ability to travel to provide geographic coverage of target accounts and a valid driver's license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified

Qualifications Qualifications for this role * Have the ability to travel 50% of the time, be able to achieve and maintain a high degree of technical proficiency. * Have the ability to develop rapport with customers within the sales region and throughout the US market. * Willing and able to travel on weekends to attend trade shows, sales meetings, regional meetings, physician's symposiums, etc. * Maintain OR credentialing certifications, including OR protocol and Bloodborne Pathogen training, immunizations, drug and criminal background screening and other credentials. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree, a minimum of one years' experience in a related position, OR sales experience preferred. Person must have good communication skills and be able to manage their time and effectively work their sales region. * Physically able to handle extensive overnight travel, OR, and tradeshow working conditions.
