Position DescriptionServes as the store expert in millwork by providing detailed product information to both customers and peers, promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs, informing customers on pricing, options or status on pending orders. Includes generating leads, conducting sales activities, building relationships with customers, keeping shelves stocked and correctly displayed, and coordinating successful completion of projects and orders. This includes performing order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues

Job RequirementsRequires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1 year external experience in customer facing sales OR 6 months Lowe's retail experience.Preferred Qualifications1 year experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order.2 years experience identifying and selling products based upon customer needs or plans.2 years experience in providing customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.2 years experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs.1 year experience promoting product related services and plans such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans.2 years experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.1 year employment with Lowe's as a Sales Specialist.1 year experience in a trade directly related to this department (Millwork).

For more information, visit SUMMARY The Sales Operations Specialist provides operational support for MasterControl sales representatives and management team. The role focuses on managing sales process, coordination of sales in a web-based tracking system, support of sales members through communication and trainings, and effectively administrating projects and project-oriented tasks. The role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's world-class Sales Operations group. RESPONSIBILITIES * Management of the sales web portal and coordination of resource requests (RFP, trial sites, material requests, visits, audits and others). * Develop, maintain and distribute sales analytics, surveys, industry research, competitive information, and territory maps as needed. * Provide sales support including, quote creation, order processing, tickets, pricelist management, and other sales support related tasks. * Manage projects focused on achieving department and company goals. * Support sales communication and training, sales summits, sales training webinars, newletters, curriculum and sales literature. * Assist with events, travel, and other administrative duties as needed. * Assist in managing and developing sales references, customer advocates, and customer success. * Assist with pricing analysis and pricelist management. * Other tasks and projects as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS * College Degree or equivalent experience. * Work experience preferred to include a minimum of 2 years in an administrative or sales support position with sales tool development a plus. * Experience using MS Office tools, Adobe Acrobat, computer systems, and communication tools. (Database experience preferred) * Experience with analytics and reporting. * Experience with corporate event planning. * Strong communication skills including writing, editing and responding to communications from customers. * Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate project details among multiple departments, and meet rigid deadlines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS * Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion, when necessary. * Bending, stooping and lifting are integral aspects of this position. * Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time. * Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail.
