Due to new Customer Partnerships we are growing and expanding our business and as a result, we are looking for new talent to join our team!


The Sales Specialist is responsible for training, teaching, supporting and selling ServiSolutions equipment and product lines in order to achieve sales and profit plans.


  • Demonstrate expertise of ServiSolutions equipment and product lines.

  • Work with appropriate departments Sales management, Marketing, and Merchandising to drive sales and profits in their respective product categories.

  • Collaborate with all sales channels, including Broadline, Systems, Program, and Retail.

  • Execute training seminars in the field.

  • Participate in sales meetings.

  • Target potential large end users through direct development or through collaboration with appropriate personnel.

  • Evaluate customer needs.

  • Effectively balance managing work and performing work that contributes toward selling.

  • Complete all required documentation in a concise well prepared and timely manner.

  • Conduct or participate in major account presentations.

  • Develop and propose marketing tools and campaign strategies to aid in the growth of sales and profits as it relates to ServiSolutions equipment and product.

  • Participate in food shows and other sales related activities and events.

  • Work with Sales Manager to ensure sales results and within budget requirements.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Must demonstrate a high level of organization and impeccable follow through skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to effectively evaluate customer needs through listening and analysis. Must be a strong communicator in writing and verbally with good business writing skills. Must be well-versed in a variety of product lines. Must demonstrate initiative and flexibility. Good trouble shooting skills. Should possess good computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to work within a CRM.


Associates degree in Business or related field with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a sales support or account management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary responsibilities include the development of proactive employee relations practices and management of employee relations issues. This incumbent will be responsible for developing an internal communication strategy designed to promote positive employee relations and to ensure that company messaging is delivered appropriately. The Role You'll Play: * Functions as a strategic business partner to ensure that HR strategies are aligned to support the business goals of the Distribution Center. * Leads HR planning and recruiting for all management and hourly positions. This includes the ability to coordinate mass hiring as necessary. This incumbent must also work with the management team to develop seasonal and ongoing hiring plans based on budget and flow projections. * Manages an ongoing employee relations strategy that includes: * Ensuring that associate coaching and counseling takes place in accordance with established policies and procedures * Partnering with line management to address performance-related issues * Developing and maintaining a union avoidance strategy to be used by the management team * Working with the management team to develop strategies designed to minimize turnover * Coordinates training initiatives as needed * Executes a safety strategy to include minimizing injuries and increasing safety awareness * Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field * Five to seven years of experience * Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a distribution center/manufacturing environment * Prior HR generalist experience with significant employee relations experience is required * Human Resources Certification is preferred * PC proficiency in MS Office * Excellent client management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Strong planning, decision-making and negotiating skills #LI-HC1 Dick's Sporting Goods Inc Conklin NY
