Position DescriptionServes as the store expert appliances by providing detailed product information to both customers and peers, promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs, informing customers on pricing, options or status on pending orders. Includes generating leads, conducting sales activities, building relationships with customers, keeping shelves stocked and correctly displayed, and coordinating successful completion of projects and orders. This includes performing order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues

Job RequirementsRequires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1 year external experience in customer facing sales OR 6 months Lowe's retail experience.Preferred Qualifications1 year experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order.2 years experience identifying and selling products based upon customer needs or plans.2 years experience in providing customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.2 years experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs.1 year experience promoting product related services and plans such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans.2 years experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.1 year employment with Lowe's as a Sales Specialist. 1 year experience selling appliances.

Assist in managing the daily operations and processes of the Access Service Department. Prioritizes patients upon arrival, maintains patient log, and proactively seeks to obtain doctors orders and other pertinent information needed to provide services including assuring ancillary test areas are prepared to receive patients. Conducts in-depth interviews in determining medically indigent eligibility status on patients. Arranges for prompt, courteous and efficient pre-registration and registration of all patients. Insures that accurate patient information is obtained, insurance verified, deposit estimates made and collected. Is courteous and efficient in assisting all incoming customer request for information services. Minimum Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in managing the daily operations and processes of the Access Service Department including compliance with regulatory guidelines and workflow management. Monitor workflow and determines placement of staff in most productive positions as needed. Troubleshoots for staff and give reports to other team leaders for smooth change of shifts. * Performs Quality Management which includes checking Screening/Access sheets randomly for errors and accuracy, following up with employees on any errors to ensure corrections have been made and documenting as necessary for use in preparation of performance evaluation. * Train new and existing employees as needed. Instructs employees on updated policies and procedures and any changes concerning screening for eligibility and admissions. * Obtains updated demographic, insurance and financial information upon each new patient encounters and maintains 95% accuracy level on financial data based on 10% of their work from a quarterly quality review. Conducts in-depth interviews with patients for verification in determining initial or continuing eligibility/ineligibility for billing status. * Makes decisions on complex eligibility factors and determines patient's source of payments. * Verifies patients' proof of identity during each encounter and documents appropriately to meet patient safety standards. * Insures proper documentation and assignment of patients by reviewing all orders prior to registration of patient encounter. Documents as appropriate. * Knowledgeable of and adheres to the guidelines set forth in the Patient Financial Services departmental attendance policy. * Trustworthy and works well with other staff members as well as their supervisor, manager/director. * Maintains a positive attitude at all times even under adverse situations. * Punches in and out for hours worked without timekeeper having to make frequent adjustments to their time. * Employee is flexible in scheduling shifts to meet patient flow and needs of the department. * Attends hospital and department training or in-services, as their supervisor deems necessary. Maintains the Mandatory Education required annually for all employees. * Displays a professional demeanor and appearance at all times including dressing according to the departmental guidelines. * Sets an excellent example for customer service and teamwork to reach the 5-STAR Services Standards. * Reports any potential problem and any customer feedback that needs follow up to their Supervisor/Director. * Documents information on Patient Accounts clearly and consistently. * Able to answer routine questions regarding a patient's hospital visit or contacts the correct person that can answer these questions. * Can promptly answer all routine questions regarding departmental policies and procedures. * Acts as Preceptor for new staff. * Able to register/pre-register all patient types in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner ensuring registration is complete and correct and timely to meet patient and department needs. * Employee can advise the patients of their rights and answer routine questions regarding their registration process or hospital stay. * Employee can type at least 35 words per minute and be efficient using Windows based software. * Makes clear and complete copies/scans of insurance and identification cards and other documents scanned into registration software. * Obtain signatures on consents and insurance forms as well as other documents required during the registration and scans them appropriately. * Maintains productivity during shifts by offering to help other staff members during down time. * Contacts patients accounts representatives when necessary for payment arrangements or questions from patients regarding payment problems. * Collects deposits as arranged by Patient Accounts Representatives or Insurance/Pre-registration staff as documented by email or communication sheets. * Acts as a liaison for patients and other staff members. * Arranges escort services for patients in an efficient and effective manner. * Can locate and/or print orders scanned to the network when a paper order is not available. * Able to look up scheduled procedures in Resource scheduling or the current scheduling software. * Works with Nursing Supervisor (Bed Control) as needed for bed assignments. * Makes their supervisor aware of wait times more than 30 minutes either for registration or for bed assignment. * Responsible to initiate and perform insurance pre-certifications when required on commercial insurance patients that are inpatient or outpatient. Also responsible to process insurance pre-certifications on patients prior to their admission into the hospital. Will forward all of the verification factors involved in this process to the Utilization Review Coordinator. * Follows up as needed on pre-certs and gathering insurance benefits. Creates a reimbursement email when appropriate containing financial information pertinent to the patient visit. * Makes sure that referral for community care patients are received and scanned into the patients encounter before sending patient for a procedure when appropriate. * Gives and/or receives report from shift to shift and follows up on outstanding issues from other shifts. * Keeps supervisor informed of ordering supplies needed for the department. * Helps prepare for next day patients to make sure all information is as complete as possible and ready for our patients, as time allows. * Accounts for all monies in the cash drawer in each department by maintaining a daily signature log.
