Job Description:

Position DescriptionServes as the store expert appliances by providing detailed product information to both customers and peers, promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs, informing customers on pricing, options or status on pending orders. Includes generating leads, conducting sales activities, building relationships with customers, keeping shelves stocked and correctly displayed, and coordinating successful completion of projects and orders. This includes performing order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues

Job RequirementsRequires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1 year external experience in customer facing sales OR 6 months Lowe's retail experience.Preferred Qualifications1 year experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order.2 years experience identifying and selling products based upon customer needs or plans.2 years experience in providing customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.2 years experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs.1 year experience promoting product related services and plans such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans.2 years experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.1 year employment with Lowe's as a Sales Specialist. 1 year experience selling appliances.

We are currently seeking a highly driven individual to become a Part-Time Samsung Experience Consultant (SEC) for the 'Samsung Experience Shop' in Best Buy, demonstrating and selling the global giant's most exciting and desired ecosystem of products. The Part-Time Experience Consultant will be expected to empower the consumer using device discovery. The SEC will be expected to drive an interactive consumer experience by promoting and selling the newest Samsung ecosystem of devices and accessories: phones, tablets, wearables, VR, and other designated products such as TVs and home appliances. The Part -Time Experience Consultant will also work closely with Best Buy store personnel to build and maintain strong relationships, and to support objectives to meet client expectations. The Part-Time Experience Consultant will: * Possess and demonstrate competencies of: * Closing the Sale * Building Relationships * Consumer Focus * Technical Learning * Coaching including Giving Timely and Effective Feedback * Conduct consumer facing activities in order to meet sales goals, using your unique skills and experience to make each experience personal and memorable * Demonstrate key features and benefits, assist consumers with the setup of devices and trouble shoot issues. Provide "walk out working" after purchase * Focus on the brand as a lifestyle, unique to each consumer * Conduct product training and knowledge transfer for sales reps to facilitate consumer engagement and sales. * Conduct consumer skills workshops * Manage performance against established sales goals * Build brand presence through interaction with retailer through merchandising, display maintenance and some POP and plan-o-gram compliance * Maintain knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert onsite * Provide competitive insights to management as requested * Make a significant impact on sales across multiple categories and improve the consumers' buying experience * Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and the ability to reason and take action in resolving problems while exhibiting professional sound judgment * Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines * Must be flexible to work at multiple locations if required * Maintain excellent attendance and compliance * Other duties as assigned The candidate's success will be measured against: * Sales and training performance metrics * Educate and share product feature and benefit information with consumers * Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude and friendly, positive interpersonal communication skills * Understand the needs of different types of consumers * Ability to set up customers' device based on their individual usage needs and interests * Deliverables specific to resets, demo product displays and functionality, and cleanliness of space Qualifications: * Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology gadgets, understanding relationships of products within an ecosystem * Previous experience in a sales environment * 1 - 2 years of wireless and or/ PC retail sales and/or training experience is a plus * Experience working with any of the larger wireless carriers is a plus * Naturally inquisitive and stays current with the latest technology a plus * Independent and motivated team player * Regular physical activity may be required, e.g., setting up promotional material * Ability to work a very flexible retail schedule, hours may vary * Must have the ability to commute to assigned store and arrive on time for assigned shift(s) * Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day * Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access * Strong working knowledge Windows and Microsoft Office If you are passionate about impacting people's lives and changing how they experience technology, apply to join our team today!
