The Contract Support Team provides service contract quotation and negotiations support to the field service management team as well as working directly with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers.

Must be able to communicate well with cross-functional business partners to ensure contracts comply with varying stakeholder needs. Requires an individual who can work well with high levels of detail and deadline pressure.


  • Maintains master data concerning install base and end-users

  • Accurately process high volumes of quotes, purchase orders, and other contract related customer requests.

  • Prepares and tracks customer quotations within a defined period of current coverage expiration.

  • Respond to requests for terms and conditions negotiations related to service contracts.

  • Acts as customer liaison with Accounts Receivable to determine billing issues and find resolution.

  • Maintains professionalism in working relationships with team, customers and others within the company.

  • Ensure all areas of personal responsibility are handles promptly, accurately, and with outstanding focus on customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

  • Requires problem solving, follow-through, attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Moderate excel, word, OneNote and access database skills.

  • Excellent typing, 10-key speed and accuracy rate.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and courtesy under pressure.

  • Critical soft skills include self-motivation, the ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure, professionalism, written and oral communication skills, and strong team and customer orientation.

  • Consistently communicates with customers, peers, and other departments in a helpful, friendly, and professional manner.

  • Typically requires a University/bachelor degree and 2-5 years of experience in service contract management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal background or previous contract experience (interpreting terms and conditions in contracts) is an advantage.

Develop and implement process and/or tools to provide Sales with quick and easy access to key data allowing them the ability to make data driven decisions. This role is responsible to not only provide the data, but to provide analytics and insight as to what is driving the data, key conclusions, or variances that will drive more discussions and actions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support of Sales and BU management to develop and maintain reporting that provides insight to key drivers for changes to the data or trends * This role will be the key point person for Sales and BU management requests for sales analytics, dashboards or tool enhancements * Enhance and facilitate the sales forecast process and provide on-going analysis of sales forecast data from and provide insights to support sales decisions and direction * Plan and implement structuring data from multiple sources to create a platform for cross-functional reporting and analytics * Define, develop & manage automated sales forecast and pipeline reporting dashboards using automated reporting tools such as Tableau or similar) * Manage analyst and data steward resources to improve and maintain data quality and business process to improve standard and ad-hoc reporting * Continue to drive enhancements to tool or reporting capability to meet the needs of a growing business QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * BS Degree; Higher Academic degree strongly preferred * 3+ years' experience in a sales operations analytics role or channel sales and/or marketing and has a high analytical mindset * Has experience from using for reporting and dashboards * Highly proficient in Excel and Power Point; Tableau experience a plus * Driven, self-starter, proactive, strong problem solving skills that can operate in a fast pace environment * Strong verbal and written communication skills including developing presentations Preferred: * Exceptional written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills * Highly proactive and assumes ownership.
