This is a key role in the sales process to help manage our pre sale process by fostering new business relationships through outbound outreach. You will proactively qualify buying interest, understand size and shape of potential accounts and distribute them to the Mid Market Sales team by way of setting appointments by following our qualification criteria.

Primary

Responsibilities:

Prospect and create new leads to increase B2B sales pipeline

Route qualified opportunities to our Mid-Market sales team by setting appointments

Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social in coordination with our enablement tools

Successfully manage and overcome prospects’ objections

Hustle and Persistence

Exceed monthly quota of qualified appointments

Expertly build interest and opportunities with new prospects

Using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and craft accurate and targeted lists

Meeting and exceeding daily activity objectives

Position Requirements:

1-3 years’ experience selling in an outbound B2B role

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Ability to work in dynamic, changing environment with minimal direction

Experience in Salesforce CRM preferred

Well organized, go-getter mentality, and a pre-planner

Natural curiosity, a love for learning

Primary Responsibilities: * Contact and qualify leads, set appointments for our sales team to close that meet our daily, weekly, and monthly objectives * As the first point of contact, you educate and qualify our customers by building the value proposition * Anticipate customer needs and concerns, and maintain knowledge of problems and issues facing the customer * Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments * Execute assigned outbound calling, social, email, and multilayered touch point campaigns designed to acquire qualified leads & drive new account acquisition * Generate revenue by contacting businesses and facilitating new account setup * Maintain accurate and detailed lead, account, contact, opportunity, and sales activity in Salesforce CRM * Collaborate with team members and management to aid in the continued success and innovation of our sales process and overall team * Develop and apply thorough understanding of Vonage Business Cloud (VBC) products, sales methodology, and processes to exceed quota via acquisition of new customers through prospecting, and collaboration among cross-functional teams Qualifications: * 1+ years of successful sales experience in a high activity sales development/business development role preferred, but not required ▪ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred * Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written * Willingness to accept feedback and training for further development * Excellent time management skills; well-developed listening skills * Motivated, driven and a self-starting attitude * Thrives in a fast-paced environment * Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations * Apply concepts of arithmetic on a recurring basis * Basic computer skills; word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail & database software * Salesforce experience a plus * Prospecting & negotiation skills preferred, training available * Balance of being a true team-player as well as having a competitive edge Vonage Atlanta GA
