Quanex is looking for a Sales Rep to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Can be flexible on office location!

As a Sales Rep, you'll be joining a team that is responsible for achieving maximum sales volume potential consistent with sales plans and profitability objectives.

What's attractive about the Sales Rep position?

  • Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 based on experience plus incentive potential

  • You'll be part of an exciting and dynamic company.

  • Ability to make an immediate impact within growing business.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Represent Quanex in the aggressive selling of products and capabilities.

  • Establish short- and long-term sales plans that will achieve divisional profitability and sales goals.

  • Partner with product development and product engineering to develop samples.

  • Understand and effectively communicate customer quality expectations.

  • Establish realistic sales forecasts for assigned products and customers.

  • Collaborate with peers to prepare pricing and programs for customers in a timely manner.

  • Investigate, evaluate, and coordinate with other departments to resolve customer concerns.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results.

  • Excellent communication skills & ability to build positive relationships with customers, prospects, and internal colleagues.

  • Experience working in / supporting a manufacturing organization.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive sales/product management experience involving OEM accounts

  • Industrial/manufacturing sales experience within the wood products industry preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field

  • Strong communication, collaborative, and results orientated
