Outside Sales Representative

The Sales Representative's purpose is to help grow the company through new and organic sales successes. Training will be provided so that all sales efforts are coordinated and consistent. The Sales Representative reports to the VP of Business Development and works directly with other Managers and Executives in the company on various issues such as marketing, sales, and operational compliance with customer need and therefore, must be adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities. The Sales Associate is generally the initial point of contact for all sales related matters, and as such must be courteous and professional at all times when interacting with customers, internal departments, as well as outside vendors.

Other social media.
Attend industry networking functions.
Help in the creation of service videos.
Prospecting to find new potential customers.
Cold calls to schedule sales meetings.
Train in the Sandler Sales Process.
Schedule and attend lunches and other events with prospects and customers.
Update sales activity in Sugar CRM.
Report working sales initiatives to the executive team as required.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Proven sales experience of 2 years.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, the individual should have:
Strong PC skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and Outlook.
Can quickly learn and use various software applications.
A strong knowledge of social media is preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Texas Driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
This position requires some overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
