As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for nurturing leads from end to end within the organization's sales process. You will be responsible for generating leads and driving business, identifying commercial projects, generating quotes and bids for potential customers, and providing labor and delivery analysis. In your day to day, you will represent the organization by providing excellent customer service, acting as a subject matter expert, answering client inquires, and evaluating and anticipating customer needs. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, and detail oriented and who enjoys interacting with people, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and has a need to succeed!

On-site in Glens Falls, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Identify overhead door products on projects using lead generation software
  • Respond to customer requests expeditiously
  • Determine project specifications through careful review of project plans and site visits if necessary
  • Follow up on all quotations to determine project award status, providing additional information or adjusting quote as needed to close the sale
  • Manage all project submittals and approvals as required

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with lead generation databases like Dodge Construction Network, BidNet, or Associated Builders and Contractors
  • The ability to manage multiple project quotations simultaneously and to approach work with a sense of urgency
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Two year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • A construction background preferred
  • Estimating experience helpful, including estimating from project plans and specifications

The salary range for this position is $60,000-70,000 per year.

Final salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
