Hours Per Shift: 8 hr
Follow the customer input process to qualify the customer and obtain the necessary information and signatures to process orders accurately and efficiently. Update account maintenance and files with all pertinent information. Become knowledgeable of product specialty lines and insurance coverage of that product.
To promote/market products and services in designated territory in accordance with Sanford mission, vision and goals. May be required to travel to home or other type of location to educate customers on products. May be asked to work on-call hours depending on location and when applicable.
Documents customer account records and associated profile and financial information. Enters inventory data into a computer and maintains records, reports or files. Maintains an up-to-date inventory of on-site and off-site information storage.
Monitors inventory for the obsolescence of equipment and expiration of supplies. Assesses features, facilities, pricing alternatives and distribution options. Explains different product features to different customers as appropriate to their needs.
Asks questions and probes customers to help discover their actual needs and priorities. Helps link organizational objectives to customer needs and expectations. Describes the basic concepts and terminologies of health insurance.
The hours for this position are 8/8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
When applicable, the employee must have a current valid drivers license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category I drivers. All Category 1 and 2 drivers must have MVR reports that do not contain unacceptable driving offenses or accidents as outlined by Sanford Insurance Carrier section of the policy.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Some sales, customer service, or marketing education preferred.
