Job Description:

We are seeking a high energy, motivated technical sales professional to promote innovative solutions for both current and potential customers. Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts through the sales of Automated Logic's product offerings Develop long-term customer relationships with assigned accounts such as facility owners & operators, consulting engineers, and construction contractors Position Automated Logic Corporation as the preferred supplier of building automation products within assigned accounts and ensure customer retention With assigned contractors, perform take-offs and bid the all projects with the full spectrum of ALC offerings; With assigned consulting engineers, drive specifications towards all ALC offerings; With assigned owner accounts, drive a preference for Automated Logic offerings Conduct customer needs assessments and sales proposal estimates and specifications to promote products and services Develop account management skills and provide customers with superior value and service Demonstrate technical knowledge by writing the specification or matching the proposal to the building specifications to provide value to the customer and favorably position Automated Logic in the market Utilize applicable Branch Operations sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts; Manage a high level of activity of the pipeline in with a focus on sales phase, close date, and probability of close as well as other pertinent information Collaborate, garner support, & communicate effectively with internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer satisfaction Keep management informed of progress and account status Attend and present at trade shows. Participate in professional organizations Represent ALC as a leader in local industry associations Achieve quarterly quotas and annual sales plans| BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 3-7 years relevant experience MA/MS degree with 2-5 years relevant experience A minimum of three years of building automation or HVAC controls sales experience| Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives attention to detail Ability to relate to people at all levels both on a technical and nontechnical basis - strong interpersonal skills & customer focus Knowledgeable in DDC control theory and HVAC systems design and application tools - Commercial HVAC Sales experience preferred Committed to integrity in business Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills Possess valid state motor vehicle license, safe driving record, and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Be team oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
