Job Overview/Summary

The Clorox Company is looking for the next Sales Planning & Strategy Team Manager to join the Sales Planning team. In this role, you will develop and deploy cross-channel business plans for multiple brands. You will partner with the Sales Planning Director, Sales Planning Team Leader and 3D Planning team to influence the development of 18-month Category Plans.

  • Own cross channel business planning for assigned categories and brands.

  • Exhibit cross-functional leadership and Customer perspective.

  • Advocate for assigned customers.

Customer and Category Planning:

  • Recommend integrated customer plan and support business plan release for assigned categories and brands.

  • Work with 3D team to influence development of 18 month plan.

Build Capability to Drive Growth:

  • Deploy tools, processes, resources to support organization.

Key Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education Required

  • 7+ years of professional experience including 5+ years in CPG

  • Sales Planning or equivalent experience required

  • Field/Customer experience beneficial

  • Strong Category knowledge

  • Consultative/Solution selling

  • Category Business Planning and Insights

  • BS/ BA degree

What you will do: The Sales Financial Planning team is a highly visible department within the Walmart Inc Account Management Team that is responsible for providing strategic and analytical support to executive management for the Wireless Categories at Walmart Inc. Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Development: Work in tandem with Sales Leads to: * Build a Sales plan to achieve activation and subscriber targets * Identify insights and put strategies in place to capitalize on opportunities * Understand Retailer corporate and category specific strategies * Understand retailer qualitative performance and goals in order to influence internal and external stakeholders. * Develop the quantitative portion of a Joint Business Plan with retailers Forecasting * Collaborating with Sales Leads and Walmart to develop and maintain a 3-12 month SKU-level forecasting model for: * Activations (Gross Adds) * New Customers (Adj.
