Sales Performance Specialist, Principal

PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our Global Sales Enablement team where you will have the opportunity work with a dynamic and growing sales team in the incredibly exciting Internet of Things (IoT) application and A/R space. The sales coach will work with the sales team to help them absorb and apply what they have learned and create real-world business value for our customers. This new strategic role will be instrumental in helping us build and scale sales capacity to support our exponential growth plans.

Day-To-Day:

  • Working with the Sales and Sales Enablement leaders, develop a framework to drive an engaging, scalable and measurable coaching program that targets new sellers as well as managers

  • Establish and maintain regular coaching cadence with target sales reps

  • Help reps apply their strategic plans for prospecting, account growth, and sales velocity

  • Reinforce sales training and sales best practices

  • Emphasize sales process, discipline and daily management

  • Work with sales leadership to build a coaching culture

  • Work with Sales Enablement for gap analysis

  • Track and report progress of reps

  • Analyze progress and continuously improve the program

  • Based on coaching learnings, provide input and develop content to support Sales Manager Certification track

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • 5-7 years of proven success in a quota-carrying sales role

  • Experience selling into new markets and industries

  • Knowledge of IoT / M2M solutions or of MES / Automation solutions

  • Coaching, training and/or mentoring experience

  • Experience in discrete manufacturing industry

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Expert listening skills

  • Fluent in English

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing or related role

  • Industry certification in sales skills, processes and/or methods
