Mission:

As a member of the Sales Performance team, you will help train, coach, and mentor a best in class global sales organization. We not only enable the field, we create and sustain a high performance culture in sales through enablement, reporting and analytics, content creation, as well as automating sales activities to optimize execution. The Sales Performance Operations Manager will contribute to the team by managing the reporting, analytics, and dashboards to measure the success of the sales teams. You will be responsible for measuring the key indicators of success to continually improve the sales teams' effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a background with Salesforce and data visualization/BI tools like Tableau. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment with an eagerness to think creatively and make actionable recommendations based on data.

Outcomes:

  • Build reports and dashboards in tools like Salesforce and Tableau

  • Deliver trainings and workshops on how to make data actionable

  • Work collaboratively with cross functional groups like Sales Operations, Marketing Operations and the field to capture best practices

  • Help create a systematic program around enablement metrics, measurable pipeline generation activities, and overall sales performance behaviors

  • Manage and administer tools to help automate parts of the sales process

Your success is measured by the overall business impact of your ability to create actionable reports, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and support field teams to reach sales goals.

Competencies:

  • Experience working in operations and working cross-functionally with various departments

  • Ability to create reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Tableau

  • Excellent presentation skills (oral and written), as well as ability to motivate, teach, empower, and inspire

  • Project management and problem solving skills

  • People management skills and strong organizational skills

The Performance Operations & Insights, Channel Insights & Analytics team provides insights, analysis, and reporting to improve and scale marketing performance at LinkedIn. Responsibilities: * Lead projects related to Digital Marketing, driving insights and analysis of channel strategy and performance and effectively communicate findings at all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives) * Build strong relationships with global marketers and cross-functional partners to provide strategic advice on LinkedIn's in-house marketing performance and operational efficiency * Create and manage scalable reporting and dashboards that monitor marketing key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight areas of improvement, and influence strategy * Solve challenging business problems creatively, efficiently, and independently, especially when faced with time and operational constraints or ambiguity * Work with and manipulate large, complex data sets for analysis and report creation * Deliver on multiple initiatives in the same time frame with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications: * BA/BS degree * 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, operations analytics, management consulting, sales operations or finance organizations * 1+ years of experience analyzing data sets using SQL or Hive * 1+ years of experience with a data visualization tool, such as Tableau Preferred Qualifications: * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel * Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint, including ability to use PowerPoint to communicate analytical insights effectively to stakeholders * Experience with A/B testing * Experience with Pig, Hive, or Hadoop * Experience in statistical analysis or programming * Experience and comfort with using and analyzing large data sets * Experience in communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g, marketing, sales, finance, business analytics, and engineering) at various levels (e.g, peers to senior leadership) Linkedin San Francisco CA
