Overall, Purpose: The Sales Operations Specialist supports the Director of Sales Operations in key sales initiatives across the enterprise, facilitating solutions for both customers and the company. Reporting directly to the Sales Operations Director, this position collaborates with all levels of the Sales Organization, various departments to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer experiences.
Essential Job Support Functions:
Data Analysis and Forecasting:
Analyze sales trends and customer behavior shift on a weekly basis through data analytics.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
Support in the development of strategic planning both proactively and in response to recognized trends.
Manage specific budget aspects of commercial sales operations
Sales Operations Management:
Monitor and maintain sales data integrity, including the accuracy of the sales team table.
Provide sales insights through data analysis tools like Zilliant to support regional sales strategies.
Contribute in the development and maintenance of Salesmen reporting and dashboard functions.
Contract Management:
Maintain customer contracts in Concord system, collaborating with in-house legal counsel and Director of Sales Operations.
Review and action business cases to grant access to exclusive brands to select customers
Project Planning and Management:
Lead and monitor project plans and status reports at the discretion of Director of Sales Ops & SVP of Sales.
Utilize Project management software and programs provided by the organization.
Customer Experience Optimization:
Optimize existing infrastructure to enhance customer experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally to exceed customer expectations and improve performance.
Market Awareness and Best Practices:
Stay informed about best practices and trends in wholesale distribution, B2B sales & marketing, and the promotional products industry.
Share insights internally to reinforce competitive advantages.
Customer Engagement and Field Support:
Understand customer feedback and sales engagement by attending industry events and traveling with the sales team.
Be available to work from the Trevose HQ 2-3 days per week.
Contribute to the CX/EX internal ab team initiatives and support sales team initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Proven experience in sales operations, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytical tools.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
