Sales Operations Senior Manager, Connected Enterprise Group (CEG)

The Connected Enterprise Group (CEG) supports LinkedIn's largest and most strategic clients worldwide. The Sales Operations Senior Manager will play an important role in shaping the future of our go to market approach across all of LinkedIn's lines of business. This position will offer a candidate an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of a significant portion of LinkedIn's overall business, interact withsome ofLinkedIn's most senior sales professionals and lead projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions.

This is a people manager role. The positionis based in NY andreports to the

Director of GAM/CEG Sales Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Play a pivotal role in our annual strategic planning process by making recommendations in areas such as go-to-market strategy, how to restructure/grow teams, and improve rep productivity

  • Lead projects with the CEG Senior Director, other key

Salesstakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions on topics including: forecasting, growth/churn strategy, territory optimization, process improvement, sales incentive design, and product mix analysis

  • Partner with

Sales executives on operational and analytical requests, e.g. team restructuring, quota setting, territory planning, business performance analyses, streamlining sales processes etc.

  • Drive management decision-making & program development by deriving analytics and insights from our CRM, Finance and Ad Serving system

  • Establish strong working relationships with

Sales leadership,BusinessOperations,Finance, Systems, and other cross-functional teams to achieve objectives

  • Gain direct exposure to senior leadership, including the opportunity to present insights / recommendations to executives

  • Manage and develop junior

SalesOperationsteammates

  • Some travel required

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in management consulting, investment banking, Sales or Business Operations
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advance degree preferred

  • Experience working in B2B SAAS and/or an advertising-led businesses

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and comfort partnering with and supporting senior Sales executives

  • Project management skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams towards common goals

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management

  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments

  • Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making

  • Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor direct reports and other junior members of the Sales Operations team

This role will require you to work with the Indirect Channels (Verizon Partner Programs) serving the Business Markets segments. You will work closely with various cross functional teams such as Business Transformation, Marketing, and Indirect Channel Program office, Sales/Channel Managers etc. to create and execute Verizon strategy for the Indirect Channel to sell Verizon solutions. You will be responsible for strategically building and implementing the execution plan including communications, training, tracking results and addressing gaps with Indirect Channel points of contacts. You will be responsible for coordinating as needed with training (Learning & Development), identifying product/process subject matter experts (SME), support resources needed to effectively implement the plan(s) designed to drive increased Master/sub-agent penetration of new logo sales, as well as the XO migration project. You will be responsible for internal and external communications to the channel managers and partners including executive leadership. Also analyze business and performance metrics and report out on trends and strategic opportunities. You'll need to have: * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. * Six or more years of relevant work experience. * Four or more years of experience in analytics, with good presentation and organizational skills. * Four or more years sourcing financial data to drive solutions, support or repudiate initial project assumptions. * Project management experience. * Experience working with cross-functional teams such as finance, marketing and Customer Relations. * Experience presenting to executive level audience.
